Q: What are the benefits
of enrolling in the Rx Help For You discount
program?
A:
The Rx Help For You program was designed for
those persons who are not covered by a traditional
co-pay prescription drug card or those that pay retail
for their prescription medications due to exclusions,
waiting periods or exceeding annual plan reimbursement
limits. The
goal was to create a program that would give those in
need the ability to reduce their drug cost by hundreds
and in some cases thousands of dollars per year.
This plan is NOT insurance but is instead a cash
discount program and guarantees significant savings on
select brand name medications at over 35,000 pharmacies
throughout the United States.

Q:
Who is eligible for this program?
A:
There are no age limits or restrictions
regardless of your present or past health conditions.
Your acceptance is guaranteed.
There are no health questions, no
exclusions and no waiting periods.. If
you currently have health insurance and aren’t sure if
this program can help you, contact your insurance agent
or insurance company.
We would be pleased to

questions you or they may have to help you make your
decision.
No high-pressure sales person will contact you. We

Q:
Do I need to give you
personal information such as my social security number,
birth date etc.?
A: No.
This information is not required for you to participate
in this program. We do not request this information.
Once you bring your RX Card to a participating
pharmacy they will obtain pertinent information from you
directly so that they can process your medication
order. This will include your name, address, phone
number and birth date. Although a Social Security
number is used frequently as the members ID number, this
is not a program requirement. The only time we ask
for your name and address is if you call us to request a
card be sent to you or a family member by mail. No
other personal information is needed to obtain a
pharmacy card.

Q:
Who is covered?
A:
The membership plan covers the member and all
dependents of the household.
All members of the household may use this card,
including children away at school.

Q: Does this program
work with my Medicare benefits?
A:
As you know, Medicare does not cover prescription
drugs. Therefore, the Rx discount
program is an excellent way for you to compliment your
Medicare benefits to include savings on the prescription
drugs you purchase.
The new Medicare Bill recently passed does
not go into effect until 2006 and we anticipate many
changes before reaching those that may benefit from
it. You can benefit from this program now and
many years to come.

Q: How does the program
work?
A:
First,
obtain an identification card, either by printing one from
this site or requesting on by phone.
1) Locate a participating pharmacy by
referring to your membership material and national
pharmacy listing.
Pharmacy cardholders can go to any one of over
35,000
participating chain and independent pharmacies
throughout the country for new and re-fill
prescriptions.
2)
Present your pharmacy card when ordering the
medication and your pharmacist will price your
prescription via computer.
3)
You and your family members will pay the lower of
the store price or the pharmacy program’s
preferred price.
Since some medications are used as loss leaders
or the pharmacy is deeply reducing
the price for marketing considerations, you are
assured of paying the lowest price for the medication
at the time of purchase. There are no claim forms to submit.

Q. Is the Rx Card right
for you?
A.
In most cases the answer is yes, but this is for
you to determine. If
you do not have coverage for prescription medications or
if your current plan excludes certain medications or has
a waiting period for new medications this plan could
help you. To
control costs many employers and insurance companies are
continually modifying plan design. If you are one of the fortunate few to have a prescription
plan, you have seen that deductibles and co-payments may
have increased, annual savings maximums have been put in
place and a variety of drugs including many of the
popular lifestyle drugs have been restricted or
eliminated from you benefit plan.
If you are on Medicare you can certainly benefit
from this program.
Top
of Page
Q: Is there a waiting
period before I can use any of the services?
A:
No. Savings begin immediately.
You may start saving money with the Prescription
Plan the day you receive your membership card. There is
no waiting or qualification period.
Top
of Page
Q: How do I know if my
pharmacy participates in the drug card program?
A:
Refer to the national participating pharmacy listing.
If your pharmacist has questions how to process
your prescription, they can call the pharmacy help desk
for verification of their participation and assistance
in processing. This pharmacy help desk number is
located on your pharmacy card.
Top
of Page
Q: What if I have a
problem at the pharmacy when using this program?
A:
While problems are infrequent, there is a
toll-free pharmacy help line that your pharmacist can
contact. This
number is located on your Rx identification card, and is
to be used exclusively by your pharmacist.
Top
of Page
Q: What if my pharmacist
is not familiar with this program?
A:
Most pharmacies honor hundreds of cards and don't know them all by name.
If there is a problem the pharmacist can call the
toll free help line for assistance.
Your membership group number and identification
information on your card is the key your pharmacist will
use to verify your active membership and preferred plan
pricing. In
most cases the pharmacist can input your ID card
information into their system to verify your eligibility
and their participation.
Top
of Page
Q: What if my pharmacy
doesn’t participate in this program or isn’t sure?
A:
If your pharmacy is not sure they participate or
wishes to join the network, they can call the pharmacy
help desk for assistance. This toll-free pharmacy help desk number is located on your ID card.
Q: What if my pharmacist
says this card will not save me any money?
A:
Your pharmacist will not know what the Rx Help For You program will save you until your
prescription(s) are
processed using the store’s in-house computers, which
prices your medications on-line.
The pharmacist does not control the pricing of
your medications. If
your pharmacy has questions, please have them call the
pharmacist help line number that is provided on the back
of your membership card.

Q: How much discount
will I receive on my medications?
A:
Although savings
on individual medications can be as high as 65%, the
overall savings most members experience is approximately
18% - 25% for all of their medications. Your
savings per prescription can vary depending on the type
of medication and whether or not the pharmacist is
offering a "Special" on that drug. You may not save on some high volume drugs since these
medications may have already been priced at or below
cost, as “loss leaders”.
Pharmacies do this to attract and retain more
customers. This,
however, is not done on every medication.
Pharmacies, just like other retail stores,
compete against each other and may have special prices
on some products. When this is the case, we cannot
discount their already low price, but you will receive
their special store pricing.
Rx Help For You members ALWAYS PAY THE LOWEST
PRICE AVAILABLE at that participating pharmacy.
Top

A: Will I save on every
medication I take?
Q:
If you are currently taking a medication that is
on sale, deeply discounted or is considered a “loss
leader” you may not receive any additional savings.
As a Rx Help For You member you are always
guaranteed to pay the lowest price available at the
store at the time of purchase.
You always pay the lower of the Rx Help For You contracted price or the Pharmacy’s price.
You will never pay more.
Top
of Page
Q: Are there claim forms
to complete?
A:
There are no claim or reimbursement forms to
complete. The savings are immediate.
You pay the discounted preferred price
immediately at the point of purchase.
